Canberra City Farm
Canberra City Farm 2 Dairy Farm Road, FyshwickOriginally set up as an educational facility, CCF now has about sixty individual garden allotments as well as communal areas. There is an eighty year old fruit and nut orchard, one hundred year old pear trees, a feijoa orchard, a vineyard, worm farm, and a solar powered composter. Sited next to the Jerrabomberra Wetlands, CCF’s vision is the community living in harmony with the environment. Entry free; gold coin donation appreciated . Guided walks and farm stories will be held at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on both days.
Pillan’s Garden
Pillans Garden 30 Aspen Rise, JerrabomberraThe garden features over 1000 individual species, including more than 70 acacia species and more than 70 grevillea species, making for a spectacular spring display.
Christine’s Garden
Christine's Garden 48 Weathers Street, Gowrie, CanberraRock walls allow for built up garden beds with improved soil and drainage. English box hedges divide areas including a parterre garden. Large mirrors on the boundary fences create illusions of depth.
