Canberra City Farm

10am to 4pm, 4th and 5th March 2023

Originally set up as an educational facility, CCF now has about sixty individual garden allotments as well as communal areas. There is a community centre, pizza oven, an apiary, eighty year old fruit and nut orchard, one hundred year old pear trees, a feijoa orchard, a vineyard, worm farm, and a solar powered composter. Sited next to the Jerrabomberra Wetlands, on historic Dairy Flat, CCF’s vision is the community living in harmony with the environment.

Guided walks and farm stories will be held at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on both days.

Entry free. Gold coin donation appreciated.

DIRECTIONS

As you drive down Dairy Road, towards Jerrabomberra Wetlands, with Fyshwick behind you, do not be tempted by the large Number 2 sign on your left.  This is the 2nd gate to Number 1 Dairy Road.  Canberra City Farm is a further 200 m down the road.  The main gate is immediately past the grey shipping container on your left.
