The Burrow
10am to 4pm, 27th and 28th September 2025

The Burrow has been curated over the last five years by garden and design enthusiasts, Tim and Phoebe. The gardens include meandering levels, ponds and creek, outdoor rooms for gathering and entertaining, secluded pockets to retreat and regenerate, extensive play opportunities for children, a productive garden and integrated fruit trees, all included on a typical suburban block. The plant palette is diverse and has developed as a response to the intense Canberra seasons and to assist with thermal comfort in the renovated home. The ex-govie home has been redesigned to be a pavilion within a garden, rather than creating a garden on the fringes of a house. In spring a grand wisteria arbour links to seasonal gardens, the crab apple and fruit trees are in bloom, and there are bulbs, herbs, annuals and vegetables.
