Melssen Garden
10am to 4pm, 18th and 19th November 2017
This compact garden was started in 2007. The gardener has worked since then to turn a bare area into a beautiful cottage style garden dominated by bush, climbing, pillar, standard and groundcover roses. Located on a sloping site, the garden has been designed so that one person, with chronic pain, can maintain the small site to its maximum potential. There are sustainability features, including 16,200 litres water tanks and pumps for the gardens and consistent use of mulch for all beds.
