Joan’s Garden
10am to 4pm, 7th and 8th November 2026
This restful green garden has been lovingly tended by Joan for the past 40 years. An eclectic variety of plants, largely sourced from friends and family, has resulted is a very personal space. Over time trees and shrubs have grown to dominate smaller flowering plants, but this abundant greenery is enhanced in spring by delicate blossom, bulbs and irises. Come to enjoy the garden and pick up some tips from Joan, who admits to a love of composting, pruning and growing plants in pots!

Opening hours: | Gardens are open from 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday unless otherwise noted in the garden description. |
Member entry: | Garden entry is free for members. |
Visitor entry: | Garden entry is usually $10.00 for visitors 18 years and over, unless otherwise noted in the garden description. |
Memberships: | Join Open Gardens Canberra for only $30 and all gardens are free for the membership year (to end June). |
